process.php vs. the API
Form Management
process.php vs. the API
For forms that you've created yourself, you can submit your form content to Form Tools by one of two methods:
- Point your form to the process.php file, found in your root Form Tools folder.
- Use the Form Tools API, found in [form tools root]/global/api/api.php to submit the form contents via PHP functions
Each method has its advantages and disadvantages. The following table outlines some of the key differences to help you determine which method is better for you.
